Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026

This policy explains what information Review AI ("we", "us") collects when you use our contract-analysis service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Review AI is built to handle sensitive legal documents, so we try to be specific about what happens to your data.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you create an account, our authentication provider collects your name, email address, and login credentials. We use this to identify you and secure your account.

Contracts and documents you submit

When you paste contract text or upload a file (PDF, DOCX, DOC, or TXT), we store the document's text content, the AI-generated analysis (summary, identified risks, key terms, recommendations), any questions you ask and the answers returned, and any clause rewrites (redlines) you request. Contracts you choose to save are retained in your workspace until you delete them.

Team information

If you own or join a team, we store team membership, the email addresses you invite, and the status of each invitation.

Billing information

Subscriptions and payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers; we keep a reference to your subscription and plan so we can give you the right level of access.

Usage data

We keep limited operational records, such as the number of analyses you have run in a billing period, to enforce plan limits and operate the service.

2. How we use your information

3. AI processing

To analyze your contracts and answer your questions, the relevant document text is sent to a third-party AI provider that processes it on our behalf and returns the results. This is necessary to deliver the core features of Review AI. We send only the content required to perform the task you requested.

Review AI's analysis is AI-assisted and provided for informational purposes only. It is not legal advice and is not a substitute for review by a qualified lawyer.

4. Team sharing and contract privacy

If you are part of a team, contracts and folders are shared with your teammates by default so you can collaborate in a shared workspace. Any teammate can view shared contracts.

You can mark an individual contract as private when you create it or from the contract's page. A private contract is visible only to you, not to the rest of your team.

5. Service providers

We share information with trusted service providers only to the extent needed to run Review AI. These include an authentication provider, an AI provider, a payment provider, an email provider, and cloud hosting infrastructure. These providers are permitted to use your information only to provide services to us. We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep your contracts and analyses for as long as your account is active or until you delete them. You can delete saved contracts at any time. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard the documents you entrust to us.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise many of these rights directly in the app by editing your account or deleting your contracts, or by contacting us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.

10. Contact us

If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, please reach out to us and we will respond as soon as we can.
